Public Notice
As required by California Elections Code § 15360, the Department of Elections will conduct a public manual tally of all ballots, including vote-by-mail ballots, cast in one percent of San Francisco precincts, as part of the Official Canvass of the June 8, 2010 Consolidated Statewide Direct Primary Election. The random selection of six precincts will take place on Thursday, June 10, at 9:00 a.m., at the Department of Elections, City Hall, Room 48, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA 94102.
Observing the Manual Tally Process
The manual tally of those precincts selected will start on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 and will proceed during working hours from that date until all of the results have been counted.
The manual count process will take place at Pier 48, Shed B, located on Terry Francois Boulevard, near AT&T Park.
